Several news outlets were busy reporting a few weeks ago how Gal Godot, who was recently cast as Wonder Woman, has been getting into shape in her native Israel, and though it would be ridiculous to expect a tremendous physical transformation from the actress, many noted that her slender frame was not yet convincing as the Amazonian princess, which was troubling considering that cameras were expected to initially start rolling pretty soon. To be fair, Godot's role in the film is surely meant to be a lot smaller than either of the main attraction's, so she may not have had to start shooting until mid-year, though it certainly wouldn't hurt anyway for Godot to have a little extra time to bulk up and get into muscular shape for the part, given her naturally thin frame. It's highly unlikely that this would be the sole reason for the delay, but it could very well be a cumulative factor along with other reasons.
