10 Reasons DC's Cinematic Universe Is Already Doomed

10. Planning Too Far In Advance

Simply announcing a plan that led up to the first Justice League film would have gotten people talking about DC. Hell, just unveiling Suicide Squad for 2016 would have been big, given some of the names rumored to be sought after for roles (Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, and Tom Hardy). But no, DC went whole hog, spilling the beans on ten projects that will take them all the way to a year that still sounds like the far-flung future. DC should be lauded for having a grand vision, but will announcing it ultimately come to bite the company in its behind? A lot can change over the course of the next few years, and it's possible that by 2017 or 2018, certain announcements won't seem like such good ideas -- or new opportunities may have presented themselves. Will it be possible for DC to alter its announced lineup without losing face and alienating fans? That may be an answer the publishing giant finds out the hard way.
