10 Reasons The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Best Days Are Behind It
7. We've Pretty Much Met Most Of The Flagship Characters
Let's face it: all the best and most established Marvel characters are already on the scene nowadays, leaving the floor open for lesser known superheroes like Ant-Man and Doctor Strange. Granted, Iron Man wasn't exactly the most popular character in the world when Marvel decided to use him for their first installment, and the Guardians of the Galaxy were pretty much unknown to regular folk before they got their own film. But that's beside the point. Now that the Hulk, Thor, and Captain America and are firmly ingrained into the MCU, there's something lacking in the "excitement" department. Who else could Marvel possibly introduce, save for Spider-Man (who we know is off limits and probably will be for a long time), that would get the public salivating? And once Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and Black Panther are in, we might find ourselves clamouring for the old days, when things were... fresher?
