10 Reasons Snyder's Batman Will Be Superior To Nolan's

4. Ben Affleck Will Nail The Role

Prior to the release of 1989€™s Batman, Bat-fans were in an uproar over the casting of romantic comedy leading man, Michael Keaton, as Batman. Disgruntled fans sent Warner Bros over 50,000 letters expressing their outrage. Keaton silenced all doubters with his unique take on the role of Batman, one that is still highly regarded to this day. History repeated itself when Ben Affleck was announced as the next actor in line to don the cowl. The Internet exploded with outraged fans protesting Affleck€™s casting. Many cited the actor€™s terrible turn as Daredevil as a reason enough to remove him from the role of Batman. Since Daredevil bombed, Affleck has gone on to deliver high-caliber performances in critically lauded films like Argo and The Town. In the 2006 feature Hollywoodland, Affleck portrayed actor George Reeves, the first man to play Superman on TV. In the film, Affleck donned Superman€™s famous costume, showing that he had the physical presence and look to convincingly play a superhero. The Ben Affleck of 2003 and the Ben Affleck of 2014 are two completely different performers. Fans should give Affleck the benefit of the doubt because he will most likely pull a Michael Keaton and prove his naysayers wrong.
