4. Cara Delevingne Hasn't Proven Herself One Way Or The Other
A lot of criticism regarding Suicide Squad's acting prowess has been directed at British supermodel and eyebrow-wearer Cara Delevingne. That criticism has largely been down to Delevingne's inexperience as an actress, the debate over whether she got the part due to her modelling fame alone, and whether she truly has the chops to play Enchantress. This article isn't going to argue one way or another about Cara Delevingne's acting skills, but merely suggest this: haters, you know just as little as anybody else about how well Cara Delevingne comes across on-screen. And if critics think they have her figured out after tiny roles in Anna Karenina and The Face Of An Angel, then they're surely overestimating their abilities. Those that assume models can't act just because they started out on the catwalk are forgetting about the likes of Charlize Theron and Channing Tatum, too. Delevingne may be admittedly pretty irritating in real life, but so are a lot of great actors, and not many of them have an upcoming slate as promising as Delevingne's: along with Suicide Squad, Delevingne has other anticipated projects like Pan and Tulip Fever on the way, suggesting she's been doing something right in auditions.
