10 Reasons Why Warner Brothers MUST Release The Snyder Cut
4. What Was Lost On The Cutting Room Floor
If you ever take the time to look at the trailers for Justice League, you'll be thrown off by just how much of the footage wasn't shown in theaters. A series of innumerable visually-distinct moments that the trailers show off are unmistakenly absent from the film, seemingly replaced by reshot scenes and Joss Whedonisms. Long story short, the material that made fans excited to see Justice League ended up being removed from Justice League.
It goes beyond just the cool shots though. There's Junkie XL's undoubtedly stellar score that was replaced by Danny Elfman's meandering and forgettable efforts. So many character introductions and moments were cut that it lead to a JL far different than the one Snyder left with WB.
Each member received more screen-time, more purpose, and more depth, but it was ultimately Ray Fisher's Cyborg who got wronged more than the rest. Quoted as being the 'Heart of the film' by Snyder himself, Victor Stone's role in the movie was needlessly minimalized. So many heartfelt moments and character depth were stripped away from Justice League just so WB could hit that two-hour runtime deadline.
In the end, is it any surprise why people want these moments brought to life?
