Let this be a warning to whoever is deemed worthy enough to follow in the footsteps of the latest 007; Playing the iconic James Bond isn't always as simple as nailing a martini order and pulling off a suave suit.

In fact, the sheer physical toll the role had on Daniel Craig coming into his last-ever turn as the famous MI6 agent in No Time to Die ultimately left the blonde Bond-shell wondering whether he was actually up to the task of going out on a bang at all.

After breaking his leg during the filming of 2016's Spectre, doubts had crept in over his body's capabilities when it came to executing the many action sequences expected in a Bond feature, with Craig noting, "I had to question myself: Was I physically capable of doing (another one) or did I want to do another one?"

Thankfully, Craig decided he was up to the final task, only to go and "explode" his ankle whilst running down a floating dock on the latest shoot. With this being Craig, though, he was back on the job in two weeks, adding another physical scar to go with the numerous mental ones he no doubt picked up thanks to the role over the last 14 years.
