10 Recent Movie Deaths EVERYONE Hated

2. Charon - John Wick: Chapter 4

After Lance Reddick's Continental concierge Charon received a beefed-up, more action-centric role in the third John Wick film, many fans were excited to see what'd be done with his character in the recent John Wick: Chapter 4.

This only intensified with Reddick's untimely death just a week before the movie's release, yet in a spectacularly unfortunate case of bad timing, Reddick's role in the film ends up amounting to a mere insignificant cameo.

Charon appears in John Wick 4 for just a few minutes in the early going, where he's shot dead by the High Table's Marquis Vincent Bisset de Gramont (Bill SkarsgÄrd) as punishment for Winston's (Ian McShane) failure to execute John (Keanu Reeves).

Obviously this is nothing more than an unfortunate coincidence, that fans had to watch Charon die on-screen mere days after the actor playing him unexpectedly passed away, but even ignoring that, it felt like Charon deserved better than being unceremoniously offed mere minutes into the movie.

And finally, if you've not yet seen Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, MAJOR SPOILERS will follow...
