From one Eternals alumni to another, Richard Madden rounds out this collection of unenviable scenes with a reminder that soaring through the sky isn't all its cracked up to be.

Though the finished MCU product itself often depicts Madden's Ikaris as a graceful Superman-esque force of nature, the reality on set wasn't anywhere near as glamorous for the Game of Thrones star.

In a conversation with CinemaBlend, Madden would admit that, on top of flying often being "not fun", there were often times as he was hanging in the air by wires when he felt as though he looked anything but "super":

"The practicalities of things, of trying on these costumes and being like, 'This is great!' And then you're hanging upside down on a wire going, 'This costume now looks dumb. Go back to the drawing board and rethink this because, um, yeah, I look like I'm wearing blue leggings and nothing else.'"

Thankfully, Madden more than looked the part in the scenes that required him to levitate on screen. But it's always worth remembering that for every moment of suspended awesomeness, there's usually always a, let's say, restricting price to pay along the way.
