10 Recent Movie Trailers That Gave Too Much Away

Between F9 and Sing 2, Universal has gotten into the unsavoury habit of releasing colossal, double-length, four-minute trailers for some of their biggest movies.

Sing 2's recently released first trailer appears to lay out major chunks of the movie, giving away many, many musical numbers and choice gags while also racing through the particulars of each character's subplot.

Sure, it's a film aimed at children and if parents can get through it without tearing their hair out that's probably good enough, but who exactly is such an extensive, content-packed trailer intended for?

Neither kids nor their parents need a near-four-minute trailer to sell them on Sing 2, and given that much of the original's fun came from enjoying the unexpected jukebox musical renditions, it's bizarre that so many of them are revealed in the trailer.
