4. The New Mutants
More than three years elapsed between The New Mutants starting shooting and the film's eventual theatrical release, so it's little surprise that it felt like we'd already seen most of the movie by the time it finally hit cinemas.
It was painfully clear that Disney were just completing a contractual requirement by releasing the film at all, and so they held virtually nothing back during their final marketing blitz, hoping to recoup as much as possible from the movie by throwing everything they had at the wall.
Particularly spoilerific was a Comic-Con reel released mere weeks before the film, which featured both an abridged version of the opening scene and a teaser trailer that gave away numerous money shots, including Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy) going face to face with the villainous Demon Bear.
As a result, when viewers sat down to watch the movie, there was painfully little left to the imagination.
