10 Recent Movies That Wasted INCREDIBLE Casts

7. Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver

The first part of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon duology made it abundantly clear that, for all of the money and talent thrown at the enterprise, it had nothing interesting for its enviable cast to do.

And so naturally, the exact same was true of Part Two: The Scargiver, which achieved the almost impressive feat of arguably being duller and less compelling than a predecessor which shamelessly riffed on a bevy of hit properties, from Star Wars to Warhammer, Harry Potter, and Avatar.

The Scargiver is blessed with a cast that'd make most directors weep with joy - Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Anthony Hopkins, and Cary Elwes.

And yet, do any of these cast members get a single memorable moment worth savouring?

As with its perhaps even more actor-stacked predecessor, The Scargiver is a borderline criminal squandering of talent in the pursuit of something so anemic, even visionless.
