10 Redeeming Elements In Otherwise Awful Movies

3. The End Credits Song - Howard The Duck (1986)

Now let's be clear here: there are plenty of reasons to be thankful for Howard the Duck: It's failure inadvertently lead to the creation of Pixar, and it was an early warning sign that George Lucas is not the best judge of quality entertainment (assuming you, like everyone else on the planet, missed or willingly forgot about The Star Wars Holiday Special).

As for the film itself... the film is a bit of a mess, but it's the kind of mess that no one is particularly offended by and generally gets a pass for that.

However, there is one thing of genuine quality within the first officially Licensed Marvel movie: The ending credits song. Okay, it is a bit of a stretch to say it makes sitting through the whole film worth it, but it is a legitimately fun piece of 1980s Rock that captures the truly unique appeal of its title character through a catchy tune and some oddball lyric choices..

If it was shipped with issues of the original comics instead of the film, I can hardly imagine there would be any complaints.

It's a really fun song.
