10. Skye & Her Parents

We're yet to properly meet Skye's parents in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but some further exploration of who they are, what their plans for Skye are now that at least one of them has been revealed to be alive and what exactly happened when she was younger regarding her parents would be good to see. Skye initially joined S.H.I.E.L.D. to find out more about her parents and it was revealed, in the first instance, that they were killed trying to protect their Chinese village and, in turn, protect Skye from an attack by some "monsters". However, it was later confirmed that Skye's parents were the monsters and there has been a lot of insinuation that at least one of them was an alien. In the final few scenes of season one of the show, Raina (the Girl in the Flower Dress) approached what looked like a man and handed him a photo of Skye, claiming to him that she'd found his daughter. The man's hand was dripping with blood, but that was the last we've seen of him so far. It will be very interesting to see exactly what happened between him, Skye's mother and Skye herself when Skye was a youngster - and even more interesting to see what happens in the future between them (not least finding out what exactly Skye's parents are - Inhuman? Kree? Who the heck knows?).
