6. Odin & Loki

Odin and Loki have had a turbulent relationship so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to say the least. But, for a short while at least, it looked as if Loki had made his adopted father proud. After having been cast out of Asgard, Loki went on to attempt to take over the Earth in the first Avengers movie and, once he had failed, his father imprisoned him in the dungeons of Asgard indefinitely. In Thor: The Dark World, when the universe was under serious threat from Malekith wielding the Aether, Thor recruited Loki from the dungeons - despite his reservations - to help him defeat the Dark Elf. Loki took the opportunity to redeem himself and apparently did so, dying in the process when saving Thor from Malekith's flunky - the formidable Kurse. It was later revealed, however, that Loki was alive on well and was sitting on the throne of Asgard under the guise of his adopted father, meaning that he must have Odin held hostage somewhere. But where? It would be cool to see their troubled relationship resolved, one way or another, not least to find out exactly what Loki has done with Odin and how the hell he captured him and took his throne in the first place, given how insanely powerful the Allfather is.
