10 Returning Marvel Actresses For Olivia Wilde's Spider-Verse Movie
9. Jessica Biel
Previous Marvel Movie: Blade Trinity
With a new Blade in the form of Mahershala Ali on the way (who also happens to taking a stab at his second Marvel role after portraying Cottonmouth in Luke Cage), the original Blade trilogy likely remain an afterthought. It’s a shame that Blade: Trinity’s low reviews taint the otherwise decent performances of actors like Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel.
Biel was certifiably badass in the film playing Abigail Whistler, daughter of Kris Kristofferson's character. Despite the drama surrounding filming, she still delivered a good enough performance that should have drawn more attention.
After all, Ryan Reynolds was went on to nap Green Lantern and Deadpool, with both performances initially receiving reviews just as poor as Blade: Trinity's.
Jessica Biel could easily lend her skills to Sony's universe should they come calling. While it would be nice to see her in an ensemble role with the heroes again, a villainous turn may suit her better.
Giving Biel the opportunity to make a lesser-known character like Delilah her own would be an effective way to leverage her star power without burning through top-tier characters right off the bat.
