10 Ridiculous Harry Potter Fan Theories (That Might Just Be True)

5. Draco Is A Werewolf

Draco predictably transitions from shifty character to outright supporting villain over the course of the Harry Potter series. One thing you might not have seen coming, though, is that he€™s a werewolf. Certain corners of the internet are convinced by this theory. It€™s known that the Malfoys failed Voldemort a few times (notably when Lucius failed to retrieve the prophecy about the Dark Lord's death during Order Of The Phoenix). Perhaps, as punishment, Voldemort sent his premiere moon-howler Fenrir Greyback after Draco. This could add further reasons for Draco€™s shaky and somewhat sickly demeanour during the next film, The Half-Blood Prince. He€™s not just worrying about potentially killing Dumbledore, he€™s also concerned about turning into a giant hairy beast at any moment. When Draco intimidates Burgin by showing off something on his arm (during, again, Half-Blood Prince), the easy assumption is that he reveals the Dark Mark, the sign of Voldemort€™s supporters. This is never confirmed, though. It could€™ve been something else scary, instead €“ like a werewolf bite. He even refers to Greyback €“ both a Death Eater and a werewolf €“ as a 'close personal friend' in the same scene. Rowling has refuted this one, but when has that ever stopped us believing?
