10 Most Ridiculous Plot Holes In 2013 Movies

5. Clark Kent's Glasses? No Freakin' Way! - Man of Steel

Man Of Steel SpecsThe Movie: Russell Crowe sends his Krypton-born son off to Earth, where he has to come to terms with the fact that he's invincible and awesome, and is going to be brought up by Kevin Costner. Fightings and explosions occur when General Zod, a scenery-chewing bad guy, tries to transform Earth into a different planet. The Plot Hole: I know: it's a well-established thing that, when Superman puts on his glasses, nobody realises that he's Superman. But given that Zack Snyder's Man of Steel was a purposeful attempt to see what happened if we put Supes in the "real world," the fact that they've kept this little gimmick in the movie is absolutely ridiculous. In this day and age, where everything Superman does is gonna be on YouTube, how is nobody gonna make the connection? At the end of the movie, then, Zack Snyder asks us to believe that Clark Kent could walk into the Daily Planet building with just a pair of black-framed glasses on and bag a job as a reporter - of all jobs, surely that's the most inappropriate profession for the MOST FAMOUS MAN ON THE PLANET. How about a wig, Clark? Or some different coloured contact lenses? He may be super strong, but he certainly ain't super smart.
