10 Ridiculous Upcoming Movie Performances That Sound Like Jokes

Because it's 2017 and nobody save for twentysomething hipsters actually play board games anymore, the upcoming Jumanji sequel, subtitled Welcome to the Jungle, is about a video game version, with four teenage protagonists being transported inside and assuming the roles of badass avatars played by The Rock, Karen Gillian, Kevin Hart and... Jack Black.

Now here's the twist: the teenage girl character, Bethany, reportedly winds up assuming the body of Black's character, Professor Shelly Oberon. So, essentially, what you're going to get for the sum of 90 minutes involves Jack Black acting like a teenage girl, with all the predictable jokes that such a set-up implies.

It is impossible to know how irritating/jarring this is going to be on a scale of Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element to Hayden Christensen in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. I'll estimate somewhere in the middle.
