4. Gary Barlow - Star Wars: The Last Jedi

For those who don't know who he is, Gary Barlow is the lead singer of British boy band and pop sensation Take That, and the mastermind behind such hits as "Back for Good," "Never Forget," and "Shine."

I'm not sure what circumstances led to Barlow ending up with a part, cameo or not, in the next Star Wars movie - one that is surely destined to become one of the biggest motion pictures of all-time - but that's very much a thing that's happening. I guess this is The Last Jedi's "Daniel Craig as a Stormtrooper" moment; a head-scratching cameo appearance that lacks any real context.

According to Barlow, his mentioning of the cameo could result him being cut from the final version. "I think the Star Wars people are so strict about what information [is out there]," he said in an interview. "I've probably just done myself out of a role."

Rumour has it that Tom Hardy and Prince Harry are also going to appear in The Last Jedi. Both odd, but it's still Barlow who feels like the most random inclusion.
