5. The Predator - Impaled On A Tree Before Being Mercy Killed
Despite looking like an overly CGI'd mess throughout Shane Black's 2018 stab at The Predator, the film's Ultimate Predator did actually manage to execute a few murders which rival any of the horrifying kills we've seen in the franchise to date.
One scene in particular, where the gang attempted to take out the next level Predator in the woods, demonstrated just how creative the alien killing machine could be when it was in the mood.
Acting as bait for the creature, Baxley and Coyle decide to wander out into the open so that their buddies can take down the alien when it rears its head. Unfortunately, that plan quickly goes t*ts up when the p*ssed off, burning Predator launches Baxley up into the air mid-ambush and straight through an extended branch on a nearby tree.
Seeing Baxley suspended 20ft high with a very visible tree inflicted wound didn't make for a pleasant sight, to put it lightly. Mercifully, Coyle - who had also been mortally wounded by the beast - gave Baxley the signal and the two decided to take each other's life out of compassion.
The Predator may not have been a classic, but these grim deaths were certainly memorable.
