10 Ridiculously Gruesome Kills In Recent Action Movies

John Wick could very easily have an entire list dedicated to his routinely gnarly acts of cinematic violence. But, if we had to choose just one kill which stands out as the most savage assassination he's ever pulled off, then John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum's stressful knife scene may just contain that very murder.

Any movie fight has its drama levels dialled up to 20 the second a knife is introduced to proceedings. There's just something about seeing a sharp object swung at another individual which creates anxiety in an audience and that was definitely the desired response in this particular scene.

After John had brawled with a group of assassins in an antiques shop for a while, he quickly realised that he had access to a variety of sharp objects he could use to his advantage. Stabbing and knife throwing ensued until our hero decided to take his time with one unfortunate foe.

He then slowly crammed a blade into the struggling assassin's eye, with the camera refusing to turn away from the gruesome scene.

The follow up axe throw to a half-dead enemy's head was a close second, but this eye-piercing finish is about as revolting as it gets.
