Most people will know Abigail Breslin - even if they don't know they know her. She was the little girl who got super freaky in the indie hit Little Miss Sunshine. The family road trip comedy/drama was a welcome surprise when it hit the screens in 2006. She also played Mel Gibson's daughter in Signs if you want to cast your mind the whole way back to 2002. The eighteen year old followed that up with roles playing Emma Stone's bada** younger sister in Zombieland, and then a voice role in the Johnny Depp led animation Rango. Not bad for someone not old enough to buy a beer in her home town. Breslin then picked up a role in the cast of Enders Game, but when matched up with a dodgy script, again the talented actress could only do her best with what she was given. Her next role was in an altogether more meatier affair however, a supporting role in the Oscar nominated August: Osage County. Starring alongside screen legends Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, the young star held her own in the dysfunctional family drama. Set to tackle zombies for a second time this year, along with Arnie himself, Breslin has a bright future in the game. If she can replicate half the success in her later, post-teenage career, she will be on our screens for a long time to come.
