10 Robert De Niro Movies That Suck More Than Dirty Grandpa

1. New Year's Eve

The plot synopsis for New Year€™s Eve has a bunch of Hollywood actors - who like to get paid well for a few days work €“ agreeing to bit parts in a fluffy, tedious rom-com that€™s sadly guaranteed to be a hit. That€™s not the actual plotline, but it would be a more honest one. In De Niro€™s segment, he plays a dying man who wants to live long enough to break in the New Year, while his daughter Hilary Swank is overseeing the famous New York ball drop. Will she see him in time, and will you even care if she does? De Niro€™s section isn€™t so bad compared to the rest of the movie, but it€™s still a load of sentimental pap. De Niro was so bored on set that he fell asleep while filming a scene; no one could blame him. The movie shamelessly tugs at your heartstrings with each storyline, trying desperately to make the audience feel moved. Since it was arguably the worst movie of 2011, most people were probably only moved enough to ask for their money back. Can you think of any other terrible Robert De Niro movies that should have been included? List them in the comments below.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
