5. Chris - Just Friends
I can fully sympathize with being kind of an outcast in high school, and if I was a hot, successful music executive, of course I would go back and shove it in the faces of the people who made fun of me. But when Ryan Reynolds in Just Friends heads back to New Jersey, there's something really mean-spirited about the way he treats everyone, even his friends. He's nice to them, but you know that just below the surface he's got a very thinly-veiled feeling that he's so much better than everyone else. The concept of the Friend Zone is really irritating to me -- just because you're nice to a girl doesn't mean that she owes you one. You should be friends because you like spending time with her, not on the off chance that if you do nice things she'll maybe sleep with you. The way he treats poor Jamie, who in her mind has always seen this guy as a close friend, is so beyond douchey that you can't help but wonder how she ever gave him a second chance.
