10 Scariest Mad Scientists In Horror Movies
3. Howard Howe - Tusk
In Tusk, podcast host Wallace Bryton heads to Canada to look for a juicy story for his channel. After encountering a former sailor called Howard Howe, Wallace interviews him, believing he'll have some some interesting tales for the podcast.
Sadly, Wallace discovers Howe only befriended him to turn him into a walrus (as you do). Years ago, Howe was lost at sea and was about to drown before he was rescued by a walrus called Mr. Tusk. As grateful as Howe was, he killed and ate his newfound friend to stay alive. Racked with guilt, Howe spent years mutilating unwilling participants into walruses to reunite with the creature that saved his life.
The former seafarer sews Wallace into a walrus costume composed of human skin and surgically grafts tusks to his mouth, composed from Wallace's own severed legs. While imprisoned, Wallace stumbles upon other walrus costumes, implying that Howe has attempted to recreate Mr Tusk many, many times. It's impossible to tell how many lives Howe has taken but there is no question that he is one of the maddest scientists in movie history.
