10 Scariest PG Rated Movies EVER MADE
4. Twilight Zone: The Movie
As anyone who has seen Twilight Zone: The Movie's "want to see something really scary?" skit can tell you, the film deserved more than a PG rating for that great scare alone.
Featuring instalments directed by a who's who of classic eighties sci fi and horror auteurs, this eighties anthology is a love letter to the original Rod Serling series of the same name which uses sheer suspense and solid scares to work around the fact that it's missing the source show's killer satirical wit.
The film got away with a PG despite some terrifying scenes, and how that rabbit made it past censors is a magic trick we don't want to understand.
