10 Scenes In The Dark Knight Trilogy That Should Have Been Cut

3. 'So That's What It Feels Like' - The Dark Knight Rises

the dark knight rises catwomans The Dark Knight Rises had a decent amount of comedy in it - not too much and not too little. One scene which is funny is, unfortunately, one that should have been cut. It is the scene where Batman drops off Selina Kyle shortly after sort of rescuing her. They're talking and before Batman notices, she disappears. He then says 'so that's what it feels like,' because throughout the series he has done this to several people. It's funny! The only thing is he is still doing his disguise voice which sounds like a T-Rex trying to cough up a bone. This means that 75% of the audience didn't hear what he said so the rest of us had to explain what he said. Then the rest of the audience goes '...ahh, haha that's funny!' It's weird that he is speaking in his disguise voice in this scene anyway because no one is there to hear him!

2. Batman and Rachel Falling Scene - The Dark Knight

batman rachel This scene is often mentioned when people discuss the strange, rubbish or nonsensical scenes in The Dark Knight trilogy. Batman has just encountered the Joker for the first time. During their fight, the Joker manages to grab hold of Rachel and hold her near an open window with a massive drop which looks to be at least 50 stories high. When Batman refuses to take off his mask the Joker lets Rachel go. Batman leaps out of the window after her and manages to grab her. But wait...now they're both falling to their deaths! Wrong! Luckily, Batman's suit can protect him from falling from huge heights; it can also apparently protect whoever he is holding... somehow. But, when it comes to Harvey Dent shooting him in the stomach, his suit is useless. It's not even as if it was at point-blank range, he was about two meters away! One of the main positives about this trilogy is how it tries to be as realistic as possible but this scene is one that lets the tone of the film down.
