10 Scenes That Could Have Been Cut From Zack Snyder's Justice League

8. Wonder Woman's Descent Into The Shrine

When Wonder Woman explores the caves under the Amazon shrine, she discovers an ancient art piece. The mural tells the story of how the lord of Apokolips, Darkseid, attempted to take over the world but was defeated by the combined forces of Earth. Diana then meets up with Bruce Wayne to let him know who and what they are up against.

If Snyder remove the scene where Diana discovers the subterranean painting, it wouldn't have messed up the continuity at all. If it was cut, the audience would naturally assume the arrow striking the Shrine was alerting Diana that Darkseid's army had returned.

The Amazonian superheroine has proven to be well-versed in all of Themyscira's history and would mostly certainly be aware of the story of how her people allied with Atlantis and mankind to stop the greatest threat the Earth had ever faced. (Also, Diana knows her people harbour the Mother Box left over from their battle with the devilish dictator.)

Because the Amazonian princess divulges Darkseid's backstory in the very next scene, the discovery of the mural doesn't feel warranted.
