10 Scenes We Definitely Won't See In Tom Hardy's Venom
1. Venom Gets Shot In The Eye... With A Dog
The master assassin Hawkeye is capable of killing you with a bow and arrow from a great distance, but that's nothing Bullseye can't do with a paperclip.
The villainous sharpshooter is ready, willing and able to use virtually anything that isn't bolted down as a weapon, including domesticated animals.
In Dark Reign: The Sinister Spider-Man #4, the Daredevil bad guy picks up a small dog and hurls it at Venom with enough force to lodge it in his eye socket. It slows his opponent down briefly, but the Symbiotic monstrosity soon resumes battle with Bullseye, who is flanked by Daken and other villains.
The panel where Venom has a canine protruding from his head brings some oddball comic relief to the story, but tonally speaking, this kind of thing is unlikely to work in Sony's gritty movie.
