10 Scenes We Definitely Won't See In Tom Hardy's Venom
6. Eddie Brock Beats Up Superman
Remember that time when Venom kicked the crap out of Superman? If you answered no to that question, consider yourself fortunate because it isn't one of the more memorable Marvel-DC crossovers.
In 1996's DC/Marvel: All Access #1 by Ron Marz, Jackson Guice and Joe Rubinstein, Eddie Brock shows up in Metropolis and beats the snot out of the Man of Steel with suspicious ease for no reason whatsoever.
Spider-Man arrives on the scene with an ally called Access in tow, and even though Supes should have been well out of Venom's weight class, the Lethal Protector succeeds in beating up him and Peter Parker simultaneously.
It's Access who ends up saving the day by subduing the symbiote with a sonic blast, which tops off a pretty embarrassing afternoon for Marvel and DC's finest.
Sony and Marvel must have spent long hours at the debating table when brokering the deal that brought Spider-Man to the MCU, but don't expect DC to get involved in discussions to bring this storyline to the big screen. They'd probably prefer it if the world forgot it even happened.
