10 Sci-Fi Movie Mistakes You Can’t Unsee

8. Jurassic Park - Disappearing Leg

Making a movie about genetically cloned dinosaurs walking around an amusement park was never going to be an easy feat.

Yet, Steven Spielberg managed to create one of the single most compelling and insanely realistic science fiction worlds we'd ever been treated to at that point in time when Jurassic Park stomped onto our screens in 1993.

But, with the director clearly focusing on making sure his animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex didn't break down, he unfortunately missed one seriously visible mistake during that T-Rex escape scene.

As the monstrous carnivore chows down on a helpless goat, she launches a bit of her dinner at a vehicle containing John Hammond's grandchildren Tim and Lex, and lawyer Donald Gerrano. This rogue leg lands on top of the car, dripping blood down the window.

However, as soon as Gerrano flees the very same vehicle to hide in the nearby toilet, we cut back to the kids in the car. Here you'll see that the goat's leg is no more, with the animal's blood also absent in the shot.

The leg then re-appears later in the scene, proving that even the great filmmakers are prone to the odd continuity c*ck up.
