7. Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Rey's Shifting Costume

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... some items of clothing seemingly had a mind of their own.

This much is apparent during a scene in J.J. Abrams' The Force Awakens (2015) when our newest hero Rey meets rolling ball of joy BB-8 for the first time in the series. Rescuing the droid from a scavenger called Teedo, Rey quickly releases BB-8 from a net before reluctantly allowing the beeping bot to accompany her on her travels.

However, eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed something slightly odd about the Jedi-to-be's clothing during this scene on Jakku. After Rey argues with Teedo, the front of her get-up is seen criss-crossing with the right over the left. Yet, when we cut back to her moments later, the outfit has flipped and now the left side is crossing over the right.

It's a tiny detail but it immediately seems to suggest that his scene was either shot over multiple days or that Daisy Ridley was allowed to jump in and out of costume between takes. Either way, it's hard to miss once you spot this shifting attire.
