10 Sci-Fi Movie Mistakes You Can’t Unsee
4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back - Control Module Knocked Out Of Place
When your star destroyer is forced to 'take evasive action', you can most likely expect a bit of light space turbulence.
However, pieces of Imperial kit coming out of place like a loose lego block aren't usually anticipated, but that's exactly what happened in one side-splitting beat during the greatest sequel of all time, The Empire Strikes Back.
After the monumental Empire spacecraft tries to dodge an allied destroyer, the on-board crew are seen flailing around like sailors in the midst of a brutal storm at sea. Yet, if you look a little closer at the crew on the bottom deck of the bridge, one specific officer shatters the illusion completely when they fall straight into a control module and dislodge the machine from its position with ease.
Realising their mistake, the extra then quickly readjusts the prop as he rises to his feet in the hope that nobody has noticed this hilarious mistake.
Oh, but we did and it makes for richly entertaining viewing each and every time you choose to return to this epic Millennium Falcon escape scene.
