10 Sci-Fi Movie Moments That Pissed Off Fans

If someone can look past the largely rehashed story, half-arsed performances from its lead characters and the fact that the entire film is just a cheap cash grab, Jurassic Park III is very much a film that actually has some solid ideas, but just executes them in the worst ways possible.

The Spinosaurus is something different, the birdcage sequence has a couple decent shots and Ellie summoning the marines and navy is still a harmless win at the end.

Those occasional glimmers only make the infuriating moments in the film stand out even more however, with none stinking more than when Tea Leoni's Amanda Kirby begins screaming down a megaphone on an island stocked full of dinosaurs.

Searching for a lost son or not, when a world renowned palaeontologist, who has first hand experience of these islands, tells you to stop doing something, it's common sense to actually follow his advice and stop doing it. Heck, no one should need an expert to work out that they should avoid screaming down any microphones of any kind on said island full of dinos.

Instead however, audiences are forced to sit through literal minutes and multiple scenes of the Kirbys trekking across the island making as much noise as possible. The fact that these two made it off an island and Robert Muldoon from the first film didn't shows there's no justice in this world.
