10 Sequel Villains Who Were Weaker Than The First Baddie

2. Jared Nomak (Blade II)

jared-nomakVillain from the previous movie: Deacon Frost/La Magra (Blade). Blade II sees the day-walker being forced to team up with the Bloodpack - a group of vampire warriors and assassins who were originally assembled to kill him - to see off the threat of the carriers a more developed strain of vampirism (dubbed the "Reaper virus"), which is sweeping through their ranks. The Reaper virus gives its carriers new characteristics and abilities that are superior to those of standard vampires and they are attacking both vampires and humans. The original carrier of the strain is Jared Nomak who, like other Reapers, has a three-way jaw, leech-like suckers and a heart encased in a thick layer of bone, making him invulnerable to any weapon barring sunlight. They also have a ravenous hunger, requiring more feeding than vampires and even their dead victims become Reapers. Tough, right? Well, yeah, until you remember that the last 'big bad' Blade had to deal with was the freakin' blood god - and without the help of a group of vampire assassins. When Deacon Frost obtained the power of La Magra, he possessed super-speed and a level of 'unkillability' that allowed him to be cut in to pieces and simply reform. He would have ripped Nomak a new one.
