10. Hitman: Agent 47
It's been nearly eight years since the iconic gleaming head of gaming's favourite assassin was last seen on cinema screens, but August 28th sees him return for another fibre-wire based adventure in Hitman: Agent 47. What little that's known of the plot sees Agent 47 contracted to eliminate a young woman on the run who, you might have guessed, holds some sort of key to his own past. The two are thrown together against a mysterious organisation known as "The Syndicate" and will no doubt shoot and garrotte their way to the truth. Originally set to star Paul Walker as Agent 47 himself, his untimely death has instead opened up the floor to British actor Rupert Friend - star of The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, The Zero Theorem, and most recently Homeland. Star Trek's pointy-eared scene-stealer Zachary Quinto will also feature as the extravagantly named John Smith, and Hannah Ware from the Oldboy remake forms the warm centre of the plot as a fellow genetically engineered killing machine.
