One of the more surprising hits of 2012 was John Madden's reminder that the wilder emotions aren't exclusive to the young, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. So despite a plot that hardly called for any continuation, news of a sequel was warmly welcomed and it'll arrive on February 27th. The all star cast from the first outing are mostly all back onboard, with Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Celia Imrie, Penelope Wilton, Ronald Pickup, Diana Hardcastle, Dev Patel, Lillete Dubey and David Strathairn all attached. Richard Gere and Tamsin Grieg even find themselves added to proceedings this time out as two new guests forced to squabble over the last remaining room. Whilst there's not really anywhere for this tale to go and it seems a shame to use such a rich cast for something that doesn't break any new ground, another hour or two of mishmashed romance and original comedy is still a welcome addition to 2015's cinematic schedule.
