10 Shocking (But Believable) Theories About Star Wars 7
8. Han Solo Is The Rebel Leader
The presence of the older cast members isn't that big a surprise. Where the prequel trilogy tried to shoehorn the likes of Yoda and a young Obi-Wan Kenobi into every nook and cranny C-3PO's early appearances were especially nonsensical it goes without saying that the characters from the Original Trilogy would appear in a film set thirty years later in the same universe. We wanna see how they're all getting on! Whilst the amount of screen time Leia will actually get in the film (and what she'll be doing) remains unconfirmed, one of the earlier reports suggested that Han Solo would be a major part of The Force Awakens to the extent that he's something of a co-lead. Which is probably why they delayed filming when Harrison Ford went and broke his foot on a door like a ninny. So what exactly is Han up to now that requires him to be such a big part of Star Wars 7? Word on the street is that, with Leia off doing other stuff, he's become the leader of the Rebel Alliance something like a president of the non-Imperial worlds. And that this is taking a bit of a strain on their relationship. Han Solo with responsibility, eh...
