6. Fishy Hair - Swordfish
Best known for featuring Halle Berry's glorious knockers and little else, 'Swordfish' is a 2001 thriller with Travolta as Gabriel Shear (a hair joke?), a rogue CIA operative and the head of a covert counter-terrorist unit, who wants to steal some unclaimed government money to finance an effort to get back at those nasty terrorists. I think. It's a film that's unnecessarily complicated, with some decent stunts but laughable in its attempts to be gritty, with some choice naughty bits and profanities thrown in aimlessly. Yet Travolta keeps a level head and rises above such smut, he's confident with his slicked hair and no-nonsense attitude, he sports some diminutive chin fluff which definitely tells us he means business. Travolta here is enigmatic and ruthless, fighting terrorism with terrorism, all in a smart tailored suit. He's still got his wig fetish, and he looks a bit like a pathetic Dad still trying to be cool and showing that he's able to grow out his hair, but this is one that looks passable and acceptable for him to roam freely in society. It's a decent look.
