7. Project Runway
We all know how fickle and, at times, harrowing both the fashion and modelling industry can be for the models in question, and nothing says let's degrade a bunch of models more than having them all pose naked at the feet of a Queen. Unfortunately, that's the exact route that the twelfth season of Project Runway went down, as that poster featured a bunch of nude models essentially bowing to Heidi Klum and her mentor Tim Gunn.
Granted, the unnecessarily sexualized image didn't feature any of the show's actual contestants, but it did risk reducing models to little more than sexy slaves.
Aside from all that, it was simply too risque for the show it was promoting. Clearly the city of Los Angeles agreed, as it refused the 'obscene' poster billboard room.
