2. The McFly's Don't Notice Their Son Looks Exactly Like Calvin Klein - Back To The Future (1985)
Back to the Future created many time-travel paradoxes and theories of alternate universes that have been dissected by fans of the movie for almost 30 years, and overlooking the fact that Marty McFly's mother wanted to bang him there is another plot point that would surely have caused tensions in the McFly household; the fact that both George and Lorraine seem oblivious to the fact that their son is an exact doppelganger of Calvin Klein, the mysterious teenager who appeared out of nowhere 30 years before and both brought the couple together and influenced George's eventual career as a science fiction writer. Perhaps they do know, and shy and timid George McFly just doesn't want to admit it. Although you'd imagine he'd confront his wife at least once on his suspicions about the fact that their son looks completely identical to the guy that had taken her to the dance all those years ago, who she claims never to have heard from again. Then again, maybe so much time has passed that they can barely remember what Calvin Klein looked like, regardless of the impact he had on their lives. Would you be able to instantly recognize someone that you had known for a week if you saw them 30 years later?
I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
