10 Slated Movies That Are Nowhere Near As Bad As You Remember

8. Twilight (2008)

Twilight What Everyone Remembers: A dumb adaptation of a dumb book by a dumb author, here's the first movie in a franchise that got progressively worse, lowering the brain cells of its fans with every added entry. Kristen Stewart? No thanks. Robert Pattinson? You can do better. Surely one of the most irritating movies to have ever existed, like, ever. Why It's Nowhere Near As Bad: It's true that, for the most part, the Twilight movie franchise consists of mostly horrible movies, but I'm not sure that anybody who actively hates the series and everything that it stands for has actually seen the first movie, which - believe it or not - is actually pretty okay taken as a teen drama with a few fantastical elements thrown in. I was once a Twilight hater who hadn't read a book or seen a movie, critical for the sake of it. So I read the first book (horrible) and saw the first movie (not so horrible), and was surprised to find that they'd actually made a flick that worked better than its source material. No, this isn't a classic venture by any means, but anyone who constantly insults the Twilight movies without having seen this one might find themselves surprised to find it's bearable, and nowhere near as sickening as the random guy on the street would have you know.
