10 Smartest Decisions In Fantasy Movie History
2. Faking An Escape... In Order To Escape - Jurassic World
A direct sequel to 1993 classic Jurassic Park, Jurassic World mirrors its predecessor in many ways, while bringing the franchise back to our screens in the grandest fashion imaginable.
After refusing to learn their lesson, the scientists behind Jurassic Park open a new, bigger park on the same site, renamed Jurassic World. No longer content with resurrecting the extinct dinosaurs, these same scientists have created a new species by splicing the genes of other animals, and named it the Indominus Rex.
The Indominus Rex is explained to be incredibly vicious and intelligent, and has spent its life in one enclosure, killing the only company it has ever had. Dinosaur expert Owen Grady is asked to sign off on its enclosure's safety, and that's where it all begins to go wrong.
The Indominus is smarter than anyone had given it credit for. Scraping claw marks into the steel wall of the enclosure to make it appear as though it has escaped, the beast camouflages itself until its handlers open the gates, then makes a break for the rest of the park.
The Indominus Rex's spree of carnage drives the story, and it wouldn't have been possible without the dinosaur's ingenious escape.
