5. Sidney Sneaks Away From Billy & Stu - Scream
After Billy and Stu reveal themselves to Sidney as the killers, they're interrupted by a worse-for-wear Gale, who points a gun at Billy and seems primed to save the day.
But of course, Gale forgot to take the safety off, and so she's easily overpowered and knocked out by Billy. Yet Sid, never one to dawdle around when the straits are dire, takes this opportunity to flee, much to Billy and Stu's surprise.
Moments later, Billy receives a phone call from Sid, who uses the Ghostface voice changer and duly informs them that she's called the cops. Better yet, Sid also used her time to don the Ghostface costume and hide in a nearby closet, which she bursts out of to attack Billy.
This is basically the definition of thinking on your feet, and while you can certainly argue that Sid didn't need to spend precious seconds putting on the Ghostface costume and voice changer, by messing with Billy and Stu she bought herself, Gale, and the cops precious time to ensure their rampage would be stopped.
