It’s one of the most grimace-inducing scenes ever shot, with Mr. Blonde violently torturing a police officer. However, it’s the song that really imprints this iconic sequence onto viewers’ minds. Quentin Tarantino’s choice of ‘Stuck in the Middle with You’ by Stealers Wheel was an inspired one, with the freewheeling song standing in stark contrast to the on-screen horror. It’s one of those tracks that is so unfitting, that it’s actually the perfect song choice for such a heinous and nonsensical act.
