Who Is She? Cindy Moon is an extremely recent addition to the comics, having only just premiered in Amazing Spider-Man #4. The same spider that bit Peter Parker also bit Cindy Moon. She exhibited out-of-control organic webbing and her and her parents were approached by Ezekiel Sims who later trapped her in a chamber for her own safety. Once Peter learns of her, he rescues her from the prison only to discover that she agreed to be imprisoned in order to keep the powerful Morlun from detecting her. There€™s a lot we don€™t know about her, but Morlun referred to her as the €œSpider-Bride€ and she might have some control, consciously or not, over Peter€™s emotions. Likelihood? Since Sony€™s announcement, there have been rumors that writer Dan Slott created Silk specifically for Sony to use in a film. Such a move doesn€™t seem very likely when there are other characters Sony could use. That being said, her origin is closely tied with Peter€™s and instead of it being the same spider, it could simply be another of the spiders created by Richard Parker. Or it could be the spider venom that Oscorp keeps stored in special projects (although how it would work for Cindy when it didn€™t for Harry is another question).
