10 Star Wars Characters Recast With Disney Animated Characters

3. Slim as "C-3PO"

A Bug's Life is a criminally forgotten film, so in case you can not remember, Slim is the Stick Insect in this film. This casting took me a long time to try to work out, but as soon as I remembered Slim it seemed obvious. Whether or not robot's have sexualities is a question for a science fiction novel to work out, not me- but regardless of this fact, both Slim from A Bugs Life and C-3PO certainly have a very similar, bordering on offensive stereotypically homosexual charm about them (they are both played by gay actors also). Appearance wise, they are both tallish and yellowish and slim. On the personality side of things, they are both portrayed as quite the coward (this is what I was talking about with the offensive homosexual remark) and a little bit annoying. Added to this, a lot of both characters communications and conversations throughout the film happen with smaller rounded characters. C-3PO clearly spends most of his time with R2-D2 whereas Slim spends much of his time with Francis the lady bug.
