2. Emperor Zurg as "Darth Vader"
Sorry for the stating the obvious here, but I thought it was important to point out that although you may have thought the idea of combining Disney and Star Wars was a fairly new thing, Toy Story 2 referenced Star Wars along time ago. Also, as seen from this list, Disney and the Star Wars universe actually have quite a bit in common, so I would say that Star Wars is in safe hands with Disney. Emperor Zurg shares much of Darth Vader's storyline and backstory simply because this is the exact joke of this character. Near the end of Toy Story 2, Zurg reveals to the other Buzz that he is his father, and the too spend some quality father and son catch up time together. Zurg is nowhere near as developed as Vader and is certainly one of Toy Story's worse character creations, but it needed to be pointed out. I welcome you to think of a better casting choice for this iconic Star Wars character (perhaps someone like Scar- due to his family connections to Simba and his need for darkness and need for power) but you could probably make your case for pretty much any Disney villain because, excluding the prequels and for much of the original trilogy, Vader really is just your obvious, simply evil villain- much like most, but not all of Disney's.
