10 Star Wars Characters That Came Back From The Dead (And How)
4. Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano has had two fake-out deaths across both The Clone Wars and Rebels, with both escapes from the grave being rather impressive.
During a visit to the strange world of Mortis in The Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka and her master, Anakin Skywalker, encounter some strange, god-like beings. These beings were embodiments of the Force, the Daughter represented the light side, the Son represented the dark side, and the Father kept the balance between the two. After using Ahsoka for his nefarious deeds, the son drained Ahsoka's Life Force, killing her. Thankfully, the Father transferred the Life Force from the Daughter into Tano, resurrecting the Jedi.
Years later, during the Star Wars Rebels series, Ahsoka and the Ghost's crew encountered Darth Vader and his Inquisitors in a Sith temple on Malachor. After defeating the Inquisitors, Ahsoka was left to fight Vader in the crumbling temple, allowing the Ghost crew to escape. By the episode's end, Vader emerged from the ruins alone, leading many to believe he had slain his former apprentice. However, it was later revealed that Ahsoka escaped Malachor with the help of Ezra Bridger, using portals generated through the World Between Worlds.
So, as well as surviving an encounter with a dark side god, Tano is one of the few Jedi to walk away from a duel with Vader with their life.
